I'm really not sure what's wrong with it-- I know it's a hardware problem. I thought it was the graphics card, so we replaced the Series 6 nVidia with an nVidia 8500 GT. The screen still gets this crazy distortion similar to super pixeling on an HDTV. Then it completely explodes into all of these 8-bit squares, red, green, and black, all prior to the Windows XP loading screen. We don't even get "Welcome" or to the desktop before it completely contorts into crazy pixels everywhere. I don't think it's the monitor, seeing how it's -BRAND NEW-.
